YOU CAN ..if you really...really want to STOP... NOW...

                                                          

WHY stop smoking NOW?  

May be you started smoking when you were at school because it was the cool thing to do with peers   back then. May be you made several attempts and then lost motivation or may be you were successful in stopping for a while.     

May be you use cigarettes as a crutch for dealing with stress or anxiety but relaise now that you want to deal with stress or anxiety, so that you can get rid of the crutch and be in control.     

May be you have heard from your doctor or the media as to the numerous illnesess which have their origins in smoking and you may have decided to stop.     

May be NOW you realise that you do have a choice in the way you want to treat your body and be responsible for your heath and well-being. After all, it is your body and your health.  

Whatever your reasons, you want to stop now for good and be totally free from smoking ever again. You will need to make a firm commitment to yourself, not only to stop smoking but to stop it permanently. Without that commitment, it would be a waste of time and money. It is true it is expensive, but it is a mere fraction of the cost to you if you continue to smoke.     

What happens in the stop smoking session?
The session is usually about 90 minutes to 2 hrs in most cases. It depends on how long you have been smoking, how many a day you smoke and if you have seen other therapists before for stop smoking and if you have underlying issues that may need to be resolved first. The session will include a detailed discussion using NLP techniques and hypnotherapy involving deep relaxation and work on self confidence.  

Can Marion guarantee the result?    

Simply NO, because only you can stop smoking if and when you choose to do so; because, you are in control of your habit and it is your choice whether to stop or not. You must want to stop smoking because YOU want to, rather than because someone wants you to stop.   I occasionally have clients ring me up and say “What is your success rate Marion?” or, “Can you guarantee your results?
This often happens when people telephone me about stop smoling or weight control.
 

Well, I have to tell them that I cannot determine my success rate nor guarantee the results for something for which someone else has the control. This is probably because they believe that they go to therapy to be “fixed”. The way I practise therapy, it is a “to do with” , rather than a “do to” process. As a therapist and a trainer my outcome is always to empower those who seek my assistance to help themselves, not just in the therapy room, but long after they have left me. I am just the guide who offers suggestions and ensure that you stay on course and get there safely and comfortably.
